Witryna24 lis 2008 · i havent had any luck with 165gr bullets in either of the 300's i have owned, the 180's have always shot better. for a 300 win mag i shot 180gr bt's with a charge of 71 gr of imr 4831 and used cci magum primers That is probably because most 300 have a 10" twist rate and the surface area of the 165 grain bullets is to small for that twist rate.
