Cisco phone not ringing
WebSymptom: After upgrading 88xx/78xx Desktop phones firmware to 12.5.1SR1. Headsets that use the aux/headset ports on the 88xx/78xx phones will no longer hear ringing in the earpiece of the headset on an incoming call. The headset functions to answer/disconnect calls. Just no in earpiece ringing is heard. WebApr 30, 2024 · The Ring alert does not stop until after the whisper plays. Dialog and user changes do not catch this when whisper starts to play. WebMay 13, 2024 · Nope, ringing works fine with Plantronics and Jabra, so I am not sure why Cisco says it is a phone issue. None the less, it will hopefully be resolved shortly.
